Press Release:

KSW Federation announced today that Polish lightweight standout Artur Sowiński will face Englishman Curt Warburton at KSW18 – Unfinished Sympathy on February 25th in Płock, Poland. The bout was signed for two five-minute rounds in the under seventy kilograms weight limit.

Nicknamed “The War”, Warburton is a three-time UFC veteran. He has eleven professional fights in his record with eight wins and three losses. Based in Liverpool, England, he trains in the famous Wolfslair Academy gym along with UFC stars Michael Bisping and Quinton Jackson.

It will be Warburton’s first visit in Poland, but not the first showdown against a Polish fighter. At last year’s UFC 127 he defeated Maciej Jewtuszko in Australia. It is also worth mentioning that another Pole Łukasz Leś is one of his main training partners.

The lightweight fighters more often than not deliver very energetic fights. Which of these two MMA warriors will prevail in the KSW ring? Will the Englishman beat another Pole or will Sowiński avenge Jewtuszko’s loss? Tune in to KSW 18 on February 25th.
