The UFC's first foray into Sweden just got a little more interesting as two more bouts for the April 14 Fuel card have been announced. Denis Siver will make his featherweight debut against Diego Nunes and recent "The Ultimate Fighter" competitor and Swedish native Akira Corassani will face off against Jason Young. UFC on Fuel 2 will take place at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm and air here in the United States on Fuel TV as part of the new broadcast deal the UFC signed with Fox. Fuel TV, as well as FX are subsidiaries of Fox.

Denis Siver has had two stints in the UFC's lightweight division. Compiling a 1-3 record from April 2007 to July 2008, with two of those losses coming from top contenders Melvin Guillard and Gray Maynard, Siver took just one fight outside of the UFC before being invited back. His most recent stint was successful as he scored eight wins in 10 fights, with all but three being settled inside the distance. After a loss to Donald Cerrone in October, Siver decided to drop to featherweight and will make that debut against Diego Nunes on this card.

Nunes is no stranger to success under the Zuffa banner. He is on a 6-2 run including a stint in the WEC and now the UFC's featherweight division with his most recent loss coming to Kenny Florian in June 2011. In his most recent outing, he defeated former title contender Manny Gamburyan by unanimous decision. The two losses are the only losses in his career as he has compiled a 17-2 record.

Akira Corassani has not officially fought since February 2011, though he did add a stint on the most recent season of "The Ultimate Fighter" to his resume. After failing to make the finals, Corassani was invited to the finale to face fellow cast mate Stephen Siler but pulled out of the bout due to injury. With a 9-3, 1 NC career record, Corassani is welcomed to the UFC by British fighter Jason Young. Young is in what most feel is a must win situation at this point in his UFC career. With an 8-5 record, Young has lost his first two UFC fights against Michihiro Omigawa and Dustin Poirier, and is 2-3 overall in his last five outings.

The rest of the UFC on Fuel 2 card is as follows:

  • Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Alexander Gustafsson
  • Brian Stann vs. Alessio Sakara
  • Paulo Thiago vs. Siyar Bahadurzada
  • Damarques Johnson vs. John Maguire
  • Brad Pickett vs. Damacio Page
  • Papy Abedi vs. James Head
  • Cyrille Diabate vs. Jorgen Kruth
  • Francis Carmont vs. Magnus Cedenblad
  • Simeon Thoresen vs. Besam Yousef
